Samuel "Sam" Dallas is a Colonel in the United States Army. He appears at the beginning of Shadow Complex, as the player character, where he attempts to stop the Restoration from assassinating the Vice President of the United States during the First Uprising.

Background

Prior to the First Uprising, Samuel Dallas was a decorated and well regarded U.S. Army officer, having gained combat experience in operations in Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia, and other classified locations. The Pentagon would go on to recruit him for the field testing of experimental military technology, including VerusTech combat exoskeletons.

Dallas would go on to discover that such exoskeletons were being stolen by the Restoration to be used in the First Uprising. Dallas tried to intervene in efforts to assassinate the Vice President in downtown Washington D.C., and though he succeeded in eliminating Restoration forces and an attack helicopter, he was ultimately betrayed by Lucius who killed the Vice President and then him.

Trivia

• Though the Shadow Complex Superfan DLC Character bio for Dallas lists him as MIA, Donald Mustard stated earlier that Dallas was killed by Lucius.^[1]
