Acquisition

The Flashlight is the first piece of equipment obtained by Jason, who starts with it during the intro sequence following the prologue.

Abilities

• Illuminates dark spaces.
• Highlights objects requiring special weapons to destroy them.
• Powered by a battery that drains while active, but recharges when not in use.

Codex

You can find many interactive objects in the Shadow Complex. You can destroy or manipulate some with guns, but others require stronger weapon and ability power-ups. When you shine the Flashlight on an object, it glows the color of the power-up needed to interact with that object.
